As stated above, I am new to REI3 having just learned of it a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that the platform is pretty amazing from what I saw on the demo site. When I went to install my own instance however that is where things went downhill very quickly.
I have installed many "applications"/Utility Software/Servers over the years and have used many distros and followed many instructions, the ones on the documentation site is lacking and is very old.
I understand that you don't want to make documentation to walk people through setting up postgre and setting up the initial database however if they are required to do you should really take the time of putting the additional 12 steps in the setup so that way I don't have to learn how to do that just to be able to check out your software. Next, yes use the docker image, I hear you screaming at me... I did that however I was greeted with my site not opening up using the documentation that states: "REI3 is by default reachable on port 443." as well as "You can use any modern browser to access REI3 locally at https://localhost/". First off... I'm 100% CLI here as I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 due to the documentation stating I needed to use that version so I have no "browser". Next, the site wasn't at 443. Your docker image either chooses random ports or is coded to send it to port 14000. Not only that but it is NOT running https so only port 80 is being configured and 14000 is being sent to it. So now I'm stuck because there is no documentation for making sure it is using the self-signed cert assuming it makes one when you use the docker image NOR is there any documentation on how to get it working on 443 when it doesn't do that by default.

I had to use the command # docker ps in order to see that under ports it is listed 0.0.0.0:14000->80/tcp and trying to connect with https greets you with the "this site can't provide a secure connection".

Next, I am in however I can't seem to get rid of the German language options. I was testing and created a new Knowledge Article to see what those looked like and it has the Language set as German (Germany). I looked for any kind of language settings and in the documentation under Admin > System > General there is a "default language" setting however that doesn't exist on my version. So then I found a way to go into the application: Maintenance Mode -> Builder Mode -> Turn Off Read Only for Knowledge -> Save -> Application Button then scroll down to language and I see the German and I deleted that. I saved everything and put everything back and it was still present under the new knowledge article. So then I restarted the docker images and still the same thing. So then I figured maybe it is inheriting language from the parent category: Shared. Low and behold there is a German there. At the same time I checked to make sure it was gone from Knowledge also and it was not there. I deleted from Shared, restarted the container and again nothing changed.

What do I have to do to change this?

I want to love your product more than I already do as we are in severe need of something like this for many reasons and it is so frustrating to work with so far that I'm hoping I am just missing something or somehow I am on old documentation and there is a better version somewhere. This isn't the only aggravation I have had so far with spinning up your product and trying it live. I am more than happy to go over those and come up with some suggestions on how to make things better as a first user experience if you would like. I have setup Halo PSA for my last company from scratch (configuration that is) from empty to fully running three times while we were testing so I have some ideas as to what I am doing.

Ok one last thing... How are your toggles backwards? On should be to the right and off to the left.
