Looking for help in running REI3 in windows server

Hi,I'm kinda new to all this ERP and management stuff, I'm a IT student and REI3 called my attention because, in the place that I'm doing my internship they asked me to search and try to implement some ERP.
At the moment I've never worked on something like windows server (they gave me acces to one server that I can use to test) but I know that I need to, I've tried some things but, after the installation of the REI3 I don´t know where should be the code, or if it should ever be, if not, how I import it to the windows server, I don't know.
If someone can help me out or give any advice or guidance I would be very grateful.
I should say that I've tried the portable version on a normal computer and I really like the GUI and is really aeasy to manage, for what I saw I don't need to change that much nor add some fancy functions.

Welcome to the forum, Mirko 🙂

If you finished the regular installation process on a Windows server, REI3 should be running in the background (as a Windows service). To see if that is the case, you can open a browser on that Windows server and go to "https://localhost" - you should then see the login page of REI3 (after a message about an untrusted certificate).

On Windows, you can view all system services by opening a run command line (Windows-key + R on the keyboard) and then typing services.msc. This will give you a console that displays all running services on this Windows machine. The REI3 service will be visible if installed.

Yes, the service is installed and running, and the "https://localhost" is running the page, now, based on the things that i've readed I just need to open a web browser and search "{ip}:443", I think no?
I don´t know why but I cant access to the page, on my firefox. It says this
"The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://[ip]:443/
Connection to [ip] failed.
The system returned: (110) Connection timed out."
I need to do any changes to the server?, because it seems like it.

http://[ip]:443/ would be wrong. You need to use https://[ip] or https://localhost in the default configuration. If you try to access your REI3 instance from outside the server (eg. from a client), you will need to use the IP or hostname of the server and you will also need to open the firewall port 443 on the server.
