Address in Tools -> Locations app missing state and country

Hi,

I'm trying to re-use as much as possible of OOTB applications.
I found address relation in Tools -> Location.

But the address does not save information like state, country etc.

I request the application dev team to consider enhancing address to

include state/county
include country

address widget, meaning address data type would be a nice addition.

The location application does store state/country/etc. for each address. This happens via relationship to city, which is in relationship with state, which is in relationship with country.

For the widget, you mean to create new adresses?

Yes... Similar to how we manage capturing date, datetime etc...

I am not sure I understand. Widgets in R3 are something like this - small forms for quick access or record creation:

What you describe sounds more like custom inputs, as you compared it to date/datetime inputs. This is not something we can do directly, as addresses are complex records that consist of multiple entities and relationships between them. We avoid building inputs for highly specific use cases such as this as it would be a lot of work and only be useful in this very specific case.
