Yes, we shamelessly put some features behing a paywall so that we can pay our bills and keep the lights on - no worries, nobody is getting rich from this 😉
As an open-source software, which supports and documents how one can build their own version, you can of course enable the REI3 Professional features yourself. We know that some people do this and this is perfectly fine.
Other than that, you might be able to trick the browser to accept inputs for custom logos - but I am pretty sure that the server component will not apply them unless you change the source. But I´ve never tested this.
