"giant button" field type like first steps wizard?

Hi REI3 team. Is there any way to create a menu of giant buttons like you see on the builder "first steps" screen in our own forms?

I'd like to create a home page screen showing the giant buttons rather than displaying a list or entry form.

I can see there is a button field type but doesn't seem to be any control over the size/styling. I guess the builder first step buttons were a custom control?

Not right now - we are extending UI options with every release, but giant buttons are not on the immediate roadmap. Our focus currently is on other features - but its useful to know, what people want to build so that we can plan for the future.

The Builder is its own app and, besides some inputs, does not re-use REI3 components.

No worries. Totally understand. I will probably work around it with the regular buttons and the new label field type you mention in another thread for ver 3.5.

For what it's worth - I'd very much like to see this option as well. Bonus Points if you can fill the button with an image or add a smaller image like the provided screenshot and control placement of that image inside the button (Top left, Top center, Left-Middle), etc.

It´s worth a lot to know how many people need something. So thank you for taking the time.

With every release we need to prioritize, which features make it in. Because we have a growing number of business requirements to meet, UI features often get cut for time. But I would very like to get this option as well. Uploading images might be a bit tricky to add - maybe we can expand the icon feature a bit to save some time. We´ll see.
