Linking directly to records

Hi everyone, hope your new year is starting off on the right foot!
Quick question: I'm creating QR codes for asset tracking. I would like to be able to create a link that opens a REI3 form on a specific record, kind of like an inventory lookup. I could put the ID on the QR code and have the user open REI3 and lookup the ID, but at that point i could just write the ID in plaintext. Is there any way to do this?

EDIT: My question is regarding how to construct the link generally, not about QR code creation

I found the answer myself. I was using a pop-up form, which doesn't change the URL when opened, so I was confused as to how to open it. It is very easy to open a normal form in a record, you just need
https://rei3/#/app/YOUR_APP/form/FORM_UID/RECORD_ID
