R3 fully supports Let´s Encrypt. Here is an example from the config file of our demo system:
There is also a scheduler within R3 that reloads updated certificates regularly.
The only thing R3 does not do, is to update/request new certificates from Let´s Encrypt - for this you can use tools like certbot, which makes this very easy.
