Hello REI3 Team,

I would like to give you an improvement feedback related 'Company' -> 'Organization' application. If there aren't many companies, it's relatively easy to find what you're looking for. Despite this, when you start to have more companies at the list it would be very useful to add a column indicating the company's activity. That way, you could filter your search and make it much faster.

Could you maybe provide an example of what you mean by activity? Do you mean which industry they operate in?

My comment was for example that I am an organization with a lot of suppliers. We are all at the same industry (automotive sector for example). But in order to separate the operational activity of each supplier (ex.: raw material, die casting moulds, calippers for quality, waste management...), it would be more efficient to search considering it.
Maybe you understand the same but with a different name :). Important is to understand the need for the concept.

Hello Mike,

The application REI3 Organizations is quite barebone because it serves as a baseline for more or less or all other apps. Applications build on and extend REI3 Organizations to add context specific information. REI3 Customers for example, adds CRM related information to organizations - like what industries they associated with, who is serving as key account, what activities were tracked for them, and so on.

The details you suggested, would be quite specific to supplier management and probably best to be implemented in its own app (like REI3 Customers does for organizations that are customers). As we currently do not have a supplier management app, you could click-together an app like this yourself and add all details that would be helpful for your case. :)
