readonly date fields on iPad

Date fields with a Read-only status are difficult to read on my iPad. This type of field is readable on my PC. Can I customize the formatting of a read-only date field myself?

I´ve had a look and even on Safari, these styles look like they supposed to be:

Can you please check for me what browser (and browser version) you are using on your iPad?
I am currently testing with Safari 18.6 on MacOS - I do not have an iPad on hand at the moment.

The is almost the same with Google Chrome and Safari.
iPad Air 11 inch (M2)
My ipad has os version 18.6
Google chrome 139.0.7258.60

That is going to be tricky... I will ask around and see if I one of my colleagues maybe has a device at home that I can borrow. Without being able to replicate the issue, it will be difficult to fix it.

Good news: A colleague has an iPad at home and was able to replicate the issue. We will test around and see how we can fix the issue.
