Is it possible to move Task under the Project taks after creation?

Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to create a task under the Task application and move it later under the Project Tasks?
And also I wonder if it's possible to change the Projects for the tasks? Re-assign or migrate or any other way maybe? I can't seem to figure out how to.

Any advice appreciated!

Unfortunately not. Project tasks work differently to regular tasks and we would need to do some data migration to move tasks between these contexts. It´s currently not planned.

I see. I think it even makes sense to keep them separate.

However, how about the task move between the projects or milestones? 🙂 Is it possible?

Moving tasks between milestones is already possible - just assign a different milestone to a project task.

Regarding moving tasks between projects: That would be doable, but would require some dev time to implement correctly. Are you deploying r3 inside an organization or just using it personally?

For now, I'm trying to find the best solution (for projects and tasks tracking) for my not-yet profitable small company with one person, potentially I plan to grow to ₃-5 people.

This is not a deal-breaker for me, just need to re-think the workflow. I believe templates and attachments might work in my case. I'll give it a shot.

But if in the future you'll add the feature to change the projects for the tasks or copy/clone the task under the different project, that would be awesome. 🙂
