Hi, Fabian!
I have found some troubles with knowledge app that could be a misconception or error by my side. I have thought that is better to share my issue with you to clarify it.
When I create an article and clicked on 'Manage Access', I added some contacts, teams, departments and locations giving them edition permissions, but when these users access to the article they can not edit anything, all is in a read-only state. Obviously, this feature is very important to me to share the edition of the articles.
What could we doing wrong? How to fix it?

I've checked it and for me everything is working as expected.
When you manage access, you have to do 2 steps.

Add the users / teams / departments / locations that should have rights.
Scroll down a bit and select which of them should have rights to edit this article.

We are very happy with REI3. We are trying to convince our IT service to use it widely in our company and become professional edition users.

I completed the two steps.
I observed that when I use tha app from a clean installation everithing is working well, but when I change something in Organizations, for instance the name of the internal company, the behaviour changes and then I can not edit any article from other author, although edition permission is applied.

Andreu That sounds strange, i will have a look at the relation policies.
The users who need to edit the article are at least "Authors" right?

Does teams or departments not work eihter?

I have found a potential issue that occurs when the article is in draft status. I have prepared an fix (v65) which is in the repository.

Could you please install and check if that does fix your issue?

v65 fixes the problem

Notice that the button 'Permanent article'remains blocked . Is something that also happens on the same previously described situation (main oraganization modified). I do not know if is an expected behaviour.

Just to finish (probably worths another independent post), how can we use all tinyMCE available edition features in the toolbar (block quotes, link checker, non-editable, media)?

Permanent articles can only be set via managing author and admins, as mentioned in the setting:

Have you tried it with one of these roles?

The setting is Active and I have these roles assigned, but all my articles are not permanent articles marked. And I can not change it.

I can reproduce it - knowledge will block this input field if you have author role assigned. It is not a bug, but can be improved in the next release.
Until then, there is no need, that you have all knowledge roles assigned. if you are admin or managing author, they can do the same things as an author.

I will prepare a new version with a few other improvements next week.
