We do not have an official roadmap at the moment. What makes it into the next release is not always clear even during development; depending on what pain-points there are, plans can change on short notice.
But since we are already working on 3.4 I can be 90% certain that these features will be part of it:
- Support for REST calls from within backend functions
- Support for indexing large texts, with advanced language features (related words, synonyms, etc.) and very fast queries
- SSL support for Postgres database connections
There will be more features/improvements, but for the above I am quite certain that they make it to REI3.4.
We also always listen to what people want and sometimes suggested features fit well with other planned changes and can make it quickly into a new release.
