Favourites and stored columns/filters - save and then adjust?

With the new favourites feature, it seems that if you configure your columns and filters first and then hit the favourites button, it will save the link to the form, but you lose the customisation?

edit: actually the customisations in advance of saving a favourite are saved on the original form.

So the favourites workflow looks to be save the favourite first and then adjust the columns and filters on that saved and opened favourite after?

When you create a favorite, you create a fresh version of that form without any customisation and are then redirected to it - that is why the form icon changes and you are redirected to the favorite menu afterwards.

If you make changes before creating a favorite, these changes are applied to the original form. If you make changes after creating one, your changes are applied to the favorite.
