Issue when importing a ticket from another source

Hi staff, I'd like to ask for your help again:

I understand (so so) that the use of create_ticket through apirest requires an api profile, when creating the api profile there is a form which demands for a type, state and criticality value (among other values) as shown below
,
So when I choose the "default" values, and I create a ticket that has a type 1(incident), if the api profile has type=2 (request), the ticket is created with type=2 instead of 1 so I'm a little confused, also because I don't know how to resolve it.

I love rei3 and maybe because of my lack of experience I think that it should priorize the "real ticket value" instead of "profile's ticket value", please explain me if I am wrong, so I can have a better understanding of the app.

how do you create a ticket? The API profile is only needed, if you want to create a ticket via the provided ticket api.
If you build your own api upon the ticket system, there is no need to point to an specific api profile.

I want to add more api options into the ticket system with one of the next releases, currenty we are improving things like time tracking inside the ticket application.

If our customers are willing to pay for more api features (e.g create worklog entry, or create a ticket without profile) we could prioritize this.
