Knowledge - Add version tracking

Hi.
After a month working in REI3 I have to congratule you. REI3 is great!
I have the need to add a version tracking system for the documents published in knowledge app. I need to record the reason for changes each time I publish.
Probably the current suggestion approach could be valid to make something easy to implement: Somebody with permissons make a change, detailing the reason for that. The author receives the change and finally validates it publishing the new version....
What approach can I follow to do it?

Well we could implement a easy version, that would simply count up, when ever you're publishing an article. Would that fit your needs? If you need a more complex approach you could of course build upon the knowledge application.

As you commented, I am just interested in an easy version counting implementation, I just want to keep the count, a reason for change and the date, similar to the information data that is already stored when publish is complete.

Yes of course we can implement this with the next knowledge release.

@Andreu i released knowledge_v61 a few minutes ago. I added a really simple versioning and also improved the article form a bit.

Apologies for my late answer.

The version is added to article_history relation and appears in the list at the article form. How can I update the reason? I take a quick look on it, and the permissions to edit are not enabled.
I am going to edit my local knowledge app to allow it.

Whenever you set an article to draft state (after first publishing) you have a small field to enter update reasons
