Is there a way to fix this? Im not able to access the installed r3, always giving me error ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

To help you troubleshoot, I would need some details.

Where do you get this error? In your browser? If yes, could you please share a screenshot?

How did you install r3? Installer on Windows? Directly on Linux or via Docker?

Did you open up your firewall to allow access to r3 on your server?

Are you using a proxy?

Appreciate your quick response!

After the installation MS-Edge will pop up with this error. I installed it in windows and get the laters win installer. Firewall is turned off as well and Im not using proxy.

I was able to check the services and it seems that its stopping. Also changed my default browser to Chrome but same issue occured.

If the service is stopped, there is nothing to connect to. That makes sense.

To check why the service cannot start properly, please take a look at your windows logs (event viewer, applications).

A common mistake: Running multiple database systems for r3 at the same time, like running the portable and installed version in parallel. This does not work as both try to boot up an embedded DB system.

Thanks Gabriel saw it un the event viewer > applications. My concern is I only installed the latest win installer and not the portable version, however when I encountered issues accessing it, I uninstall and reinstall again to think that it will fix the issue. How can I start the r3 again in this scenario? thank you in advance!

To get any useful info, you need to read the log entries - primarily the red ones 😉

To start the service, go into your service console (services.msc), right-click on REI3 and select start.
