Are you saying that the option to "stay logged in" does not work for you? Or does it work and it bothers you that the login page is shown for a sec while the app logs you in?
If it´s the latter, please consider that r3 is not a simple website - but a rather complex application that needs to deal with a lot of state/caching. You should never need to press F5 as r3 automatically communicates changes with its backend; if you find yourself needing to refresh the browser, there might be something wrong.
