Error in "config" form of "Organizations" application

First of all, congratulations for the design and production of this excellent platform. I was checking and testing the platform when I accidentally noticed some errors in the "config" form of the "organizations" program. When I open the "config" form of the "organizations" program in the builder environment, there was several error lines like below in browser console:

TypeError: can't access property "...", t.fieldIdMapOverwrite.order is undefined
and I wanted you to know.
On the other hand, I realized that if an awkward error occurs while designing the form and viewing it, the entire program may fail. Is there any way to catch such errors so that other parts of the program are not blocked?

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I tried to recreate the error case you are describing, but was unable to. Did you "just" open the form config or did you change a setting or open a sub menu? Do you use the original version of R3 or did you make changes to the source code?

To answer your question: If there are errors like this, we need to fix them with a patch release. There is no way for somebody else to fix issues like that without touching the source code.

Dear Gabriel, I used portable version of Rei3 3.7.5 and i installed the organizations and company apps from Core company package, after upgrading organization to version 160, i exported the application and then imported it in another clean portable version of rei3 instance. i made a gif file that show you what is the error and how to generate that.

I will be traveling tomorrow, but I will try to replicate the issue in the next few days. If you have not made any changes, an export should not cause any issues.

If it does cause issues, we have a bug and we need to squash it :)

To be honest, i have to do it again. as official Organizations application version is 159 and mine is 160 , it is possible that i have made some change and new version is generated for it. let me do all operation again and report you the result.

To not confuse things too much: The current version of the app is v160 - this version is available in the repository. When installing the Core Company package, you might get an older version, as the package itself is bundled with the system. If you have v159 installed, and your R3 server has access to the internet, you can update the v159 Organisations application to the latest one from the repository (Admin panel -> Applications).

If you have exported a different version (v160) than the version you installed (v159), you made changes to the application itself. As explained in our docs, unless you are fine with loosing upgrade support, you should not make changes to apps from other authors directly. You can build on other apps - in this case their version number would not change.

Hello again, I must say you are right! The original version of the organizations program for REI 3.7.5, which is version 159, has no bugs. Sorry for my mistake, I must have changed something I can't remember.
