Connect to external databases

Hello.
I've just found REI3 today and I'm very impressed with my first overview.

Congratulations to the developers!

I was thinking on a small project, for my first trials, and I came across the need to read and write from and to external databases, suchs as mysql or mssql.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

I use to use Joomla and Fabrik framework, and I can read and write from and to this database types, by the means of some scripting and PHP development.

Probably another option is to use external tools like Zapier or n8n, but if REI3 could have this feature, it will be great for my needs.

Sorry of I didn't investigate ao deep, and I'm asking without reading everything, but I as I just found this excelent framework today, I had not enough time to explore everything.

Unfortunately, there is no integrated option to access external databases at the moment.

You can move data via REST calls (the clean way) or via SQL (fully supported, but more prone to errors). You can use a DB sync tool to make data accessible in REI3 or update external systems.

To move data from external databases to REI3 is possible either via REST, if such an interface is available, or via SQL sync tools. And CSV of course, but that would be a manual process.

There is currently no built-in feature to access or load data from external DBs from within REI3.

will be a good one just like other low code tools, so we can connect directly to ext db and get some info but without saving it inside rei3
