Statistics for Professional Tier Installations

Hi All,

I have a few questions that if you could be so kind to answer would help us make a purchasing decision:

Would you be able to give any statistics on how many instances of Rei3 there are out in the wild?
Are you able to confirm how many professional tier instances have active subscriptions?
Are you able to confirm what geographical regions most Rei3 users are in?

Hello Richard,

Because REI3 is freely available and does not include any trackers, we can only approach this number. From web server logs, we know that many hundred REI3 instances are checking daily for updates. But because REI3 can be deployed in offline environments and the update check can be disabled, there really is no way for us to know specific numbers.
Number of clients is not something that many companies would share. We also do not want to give details in this regard. But I can tell you that while we have different customer types & sizes (food makers, construction companies, IT services, city governance, etc.), we are still a smaller company - we do not have dozens of employees and sales reps. We grow with customer needs, but generally try to stay as lean as possible to keep prices down.
Just as with the first point above, its hard to say. Customer-wise its all over the globe. But because we are a German company, we have some marketing focus in/around Germany. We are limited to providing support in German & English though, if this is a concern.
